Meet José – Elevate Bridgeport's Student of the Month for March!

This month, we’re thrilled to spotlight Jose Nunez, a standout freshman at Bassick High School!

From day one, Jose has shown what it means to lead with integrity, enthusiasm, and heart. Whether stepping up at mentoring events or serving as one of the three Shoe Drive Captains, he’s always ready to take initiative and uplift those around him.

In the classroom, Jose goes above and beyond—passing out notebooks, helping peers during group work, and offering thoughtful insights in discussions. His actions speak volumes about the kind of student—and person—he is.
