On May 28th, 2026 the Board of Directors received the immediate resignation notice of Elevate Bridgeport’s Executive Director Eric Torres. The Board also was informed of concerns regarding certain financial and accounting matters. Immediately upon receiving that information, the Board commenced a comprehensive review and investigation.

At this time, an investigation continues involving appropriate advisors, authorities, and affected parties. While that process is ongoing, the organization remains focused on its mission and day-to-day operations. This internal organizational matter has not impacted our students, families, schools, or programming, all of which continue uninterrupted.

The purpose of Elevate Bridgeport is to build long term, life-changing relationships with the youth of Bridgeport. Equipping them to thrive and contribute to their community.
